Download PDFThe Honeywell DCM10 universal pressure switch is used to switch and monitor excess pressure. It finds application in engineering, the printing industry, pneumatics and hydraulics. The switch is primarily designed for falling pressure, therefore the setting of the switching value on the scale corresponds to the point at falling pressure. The reset point of the switch is then higher by the value of the difference between the two values. The area between the reset point and the switching value determines the differential tolerance in which the pressure can freely move without switching. The tolerance range is fixed at the factory and cannot be readjusted.
The pressure passing through the switch through the connection (1) acts on the measuring bellows (2). When it is changed, the bellows will move, their movement is transmitted through the pressure pin (4) to the connecting bridge (5). As the pressure rises, the bridge presses on the switching element (7) and controls it. The spring (8) provides the counterweight. Using the screw (11), the switching element can be calibrated. The counter pressure spring (12) is designed for stable switching even at a low set value.
